What you need
- A jar
- Small strips of paper with prompts
Setup
- Write 8 to 10 open emotional prompts on paper strips
- Fold them and place them in a jar
- Agree on a no-judgment, no-interruption rule
Play prompts
- Can you tell a true story in under 3 minutes?
- Can you share something you've never told this group before?
- Can you sit with someone else's story without jumping to advice?
Ways to change it up
- Go around a second time with follow-up questions only
- Keep a rotating jar that grows over time
- End each story with one word that captures how it felt
Safety notes
- Let anyone pass on a prompt that feels too personal
