What you need
- A soft blindfold or closed eyes
- A few soft cushions as obstacles
Setup
- Set out two or three soft, low obstacles
- One child closes their eyes or wears a blindfold
- The other gives step-by-step verbal directions
Play prompts
- Can you guide them using only words?
- Can you trust your guide and walk slowly?
- Can you swap roles for the way back?
Ways to change it up
- Add a simple prize to find at the end
- Use a hand-hold instead of a blindfold for younger kids
Safety notes
- Adult supervises the whole walk and keeps the path genuinely safe
- Only use very soft, low obstacles
