- Ice block with small toys frozen inside (freeze overnight)
- Warm water in a jug
- Salt
- Spoons
- Tray or tub
Setup
- The night before, freeze a few small toys in a container of water
- Pop the ice block out into a tray
- Set out warm water, salt, and spoons for excavating

Ways to change it up
- Freeze the toys in individual ice cube trays for a faster version
