What you need
- Paper
- Pens or markers
- A folder or clipboard to pass around
Setup
- Fold or divide the paper into panels
- Have the first player draw a panel and a one-line caption
- Fold the paper to hide all but the last panel before passing it on
Play prompts
- Can you continue the story from just the last panel?
- Can you add an unexpected plot twist?
- Can you guess where the story is headed before unfolding it?
Ways to change it up
- Set a time limit per panel
- Add a genre theme like sci-fi or mystery
- Unfold and read the whole strip aloud at the end
